Application of IoT Pest Monitoring Lamps in Smart Agriculture

The Zhaodi IoT Intelligent Pest Monitoring Light converts solar energy into electricity during the day through solar panels and stores it in the internal battery. At night, based on the phototactic characteristics of pests, the automatically lit lamp tube attracts pests from rice fields, cornfields, and vegetable fields. The pests in the crops are drawn to the light, collide with the transparent glass plate, and fall into the collection box.

Infrared high-temperature treatment is used to kill pests, ensuring a high mortality rate of up to 98% while preserving the integrity of the pest bodies. Compatible with the Zhaodi Pest Monitoring and Control System and the Plant Protection IoT System, it is equipped with a 20-megapixel industrial camera to remotely photograph pests and automatically transmit the images to the IoT terminal. The system operates automatically, enabling tasks such as automatic pest killing, counting, and identification without human supervision.
